Located about 16km from Quy Nhon, Hon Kho Island is like a giant screen covering the fishing village of Nhon Hai. Called Hon Kho because the island has nothing but craggy, dry rocky mountains trying to rest to the sea. In the island, the four seasons of the sea breeze play each other and push against the cliffs. The early silver waves were interested in shaping the stone. They work hard day and night to take care of it, pruning it so that the stone also softens and bends and tilts. Hon Kho also knows how to pamper adventurous feet. It forces visitors from far away to pant for climbing from cliff to slope, and then pays with the feeling that when reaching the top, people can fully feel the spaciousness and immensity of the sea. In the distance is a panoramic view of the city. Quy Nhon is narrowed in sight...
The beach in Hon Kho still retains its wild and rustic features. Not only possessing clear blue sea, the island is also surrounded by colorful coral reefs. Diving to see coral becomes a tourist specialty of Hon Kho Island. Besides, visitors will enjoy the fresh specialties of the sea prepared by the people here, and sip a glass of spicy Bau Da wine imbued with the impressive cultural identity of Binh Dinh.
