Provincial leader meets with Samwhan Enterprise and KDN Electric Enterprise (the Republic of Korea)

At the meeting, Mr. Youn Jae Hong – Director of Samwhan Enterprise informed about the implementation plan of the project on building a public E-mobility (production and usage of solar energy for electric motorbikes). The project aims to reduce carbon emissions and pollution emission sources in Vietnam, saving costs for the majority of people using internal combustion engine vehicles, forming a green – clean environment, promoting the development of industry, tourism and services, etc. This project has a total investment of won 13 billion (equivalent to VND 260 billion). It is expected the project begins to implement in March 2024 and puts into operation in December 2026.

Project’s steps include: Installing E-Mobility charging station with rooftop solar panels - Building management and operation system - Training human resources in the province to transfer technology and directly manage and operate the system - Coordinating and researching to improve E-Mobility operating system.

At first, the installation of rooftop solar power systems and electric motorbike charging stations will be invested at State offices, including: administrative center, convention center, schools, hospitals, public stations, bus stations, etc. The installation and donation of electric motorbikes to serve police forces and urban order teams will be prioritized.

The Director of Samwhan enterprise said that the enterprise had carried out field surveys at a number of agencies and units in the province and assessed the feasibility of each position for the project’s requirements.

Permanent Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh PPC Nguyen Tuan Thanh delivered a speech at the meeting.

Permanent Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh PPC Nguyen Tuan Thanh highly appreciated the objectives of the project and agreed to implement the ODA project of electric motorbikes for tourism development, funded by the RoK Government in Binh Dinh province.

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh requested Samwhan enterprise to coordinate with Quy Nhon city People’s Committee and relevant departments and agencies to survey, prepare project’s documents, report to the Government and agreed to implement the project in accordance with regulations; at the same time, asked Yongsan District Office in Quy Nhon city to facilitate and support Binh Dinh province to participate in this project.
