The Provincial Leader met with the Korean Ambassador to Vietnam

At the meeting, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee – Chairman of Binh Dinh PPC gave a brief on the provincial potential, strengths and said that in the past years Binh Dinh had a priority to focus on upgrading and developing the infrastructural works and transport with the aim of building a synchronous transport system; boosting the industrialization and modernization, striving to make Binh Dinh one of the leading provinces in the Central Vietnam.

Mr. Ho Quoc Dung affirmed that in the local development strategy, Binh Dinh always focuses on investment promotion activities to attract Korean enterprises to invest in the province. However, at present, the number of Korean enterprises investing in the province is still very limited compared to the potential.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee wished the Korean Embassy in Vietnam and the Ambassador to support Binh Dinh province in promoting the image, introducing projects calling for investment, and preferential policies on investment as well as investment promotion to the province. Binh Dinh committed to creating the most favorable conditions for Korean businesses to seek for investment opportunities in the province.

Regarding the cooperation with localities of Korea, Mr. Ho Quoc Dung especially appreciated the cooperation and friendship relation between Quy Nhon city (Binh Dinh province) and Yongsan District (Seoul city, Korea) with increasingly extensive and effective exchange and cooperation activities. In the coming time, Binh Dinh will actively implement activities to expand relations with other regions of Korea.

At the meeting, Mr. Park Noh-wan congratulated the outstanding development of Binh Dinh province in recent years. He repeatedly emphasized the good relation between Vietnam - Korea in general, between localities of the two countries in particular, including the relation between Quy Nhon city and Yongsan District. He said that he would support the province to organize an investment promotion workshop in Quy Nhon and committed to supporting and connecting Korean enterprises to seek for investment opportunities in Binh Dinh province.
