Binh Dinh leader met with President of the Korea – Asia Friendship Foundation (KAFF)

At the meeting, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee (PPC) Ho Quoc Dung recommended the provincial potential and strengths, sectors that need to call for investment and preferential policies to the investment in Binh Dinh. The Chairman said in 2018, the provincial socio-economic situation achieved many positive results; all targets attained or exceeded the plan. Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) increased by 7.32% (the plan: 7-7.2%). Tourism activities have grown quite well, the total number of tourists coming to the province was estimated at over 4 million turns; particularly, international tourists were estimated to reach over 286,400 turns, including Korean tourists.

The Chairman Ho Quoc Dung thanked Mr. Choi Jae Sung for his support and connection of Korean investors to seek for investment opportunities in the province in past years; at the same time, hoped the President of Korea - Asia Friendship Association would continue to act as a bridge so that Binh Dinh would establish the cooperation with Korean enterprises.

At the meeting, Korean investors were given information on tourism investment as well as procedures and provincial preferential policies.

The President of Korea-Asia Friendship Association Choi Jae Sung congratulated the development of Binh Dinh province in the past years and believed Binh Dinh would be further developed in near future. Mr. Choi Jae Sung committed to connecting Korean businesses to seek for investment opportunities in the fields that Binh Dinh has advantages and needs to call for investment. On this occasion, the President of the Korea-Asia Friendship Association proposed the Provincial People's Committee to pay attention and create conditions for the Association to implement the project “International Teacher Training Institute” in Nhon Ly Commune, Quy Nhon City.
