The Consul General of Laos People’s Democratic Republic had a courtesy call to Binh Dinh leader

Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Nguyen Phi Long (second, right) offered a present to the Consul General of Laos to Da Nang City.

Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Nguyen Phi Long expressed his pleasure to welcome the Consul General and his spouse to Binh Dinh. At the meeting, the Vice Chairman gave a brief on provincial socio-economic development and results of the cooperation between Binh Dinh and 4 southern provinces of Laos (Attapeu, Champasak, Salavan and Selong) in the past years. On this occasion, Vice Chairman Nguyen Phi Long wished Mr. Viengxay Phommachanh would achieve great results on his new position as the Laos Consul General to Da Nang and hoped that the Consul General would work as a bridge to strengthen the relationship between Vietnam and Laos in general and Binh Dinh with 4 southern provinces of Laos in particular.

Mr. Viengxay Phommachanh expressed his thanks to Binh Dinh leader for warm welcome. He also congratulated on provincial socio-economic achievements and highly valued the assistance as well as effective cooperation between Binh Dinh and southern provinces of Laos, especially in human resources training sector.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyen Phi Long and Consul General Viengxay Phommachanh mentioned the special solidarity and friendship relations between Vietnam and Laos many times and affirmed that they would continue to strengthen and develop the relation in the coming time.
