Research orientation and collaboration for Vietnamese young biologists

On the morning of December 9, 2017 at the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE), there was a workshop entitled research orientation and collaboration for Vietnamese young biologists with the participation of more than 30 PhDs and Vietnamese young scientists.

Delegates had a photo taken at the Workshop. 

The workshop was co-organized by Rencontres du Vietnam and Vietnam France University (USTH) (Ha Noi Science and Technology University) and it was in the framework of “the 13th Rencontres du Vietnam”. The initiative aimed at introducing young scientists across the nation with their expertise in such fields as medicine – biology – pharmacy – agriculture and promoting research collaborations. It would also target the future research orientation, and proposal preparation skills for addressing domestic and international funding agencies.

At the workshop, Mr. Etienne Rolland-Piegue – Counselor for cultural cooperation and activities – the Embassy of France in Vietnam emphasized the presence of PhDs and young scientists at the workshop proved the cooperation relation between France and Vietnam in scientific research, especially in medicine – biology fields.

Prof. Patrick Boiron – President of Vietnam France University said PhDs and young scientists should overcome their difficulties when doing scientific research and confirmed the workshop would be an opportunity for young scientists to share experience and cooperation with national and international experts in different fields.
