At the meeting, Korean investors hoped the province would assist and recommend an appropriate location to invest a solar and wind energy project; providing information on preferential policies, both inside and outside Nhon Hoi Economic Zone; the procedure to connect solar power projects with the national grid; the price and time for land lease; the site clearance; the policies to assist investors in terms of building the infrastructure for projects, etc.
Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Phan Cao Thang highly valued Korean investors chose Binh Dinh to seek investment opportunities of renewable energy projects. The Vice Chairman also said the province is implementing the specific plan for areas that can develop wind and solar energy projects and would recommend to the investors. So far, 22 renewable energy projects of both national and international investors have been registered in the province. In Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, there have been two Japanese and Korean investors to register renewable energy projects. The province committed to creating favorable conditions for Korean investors to implement renewable energy projects in the province.
