Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung met with the leader of KinderWorld Education Group

At the meeting, Mr. Ricky Tan gave a report on the progress of the project “Outward Bound in Vietnam”, implemented in Cat Hai Commune (Phu Cat District). The project has been constructed on an area of 60.3ha, with the total investment capital of more than VND 210 billion. So far, the investor has completed the 1/500 plan of the project, publicizing the plan and submitting the basic design, the construction design as well as constructing a number of works items: the fence, the gate, the indoor activity area and the canteen, the electric station, the equipment store, multi-purpose hall, etc. The total investment up to now is about VND 30 billion. According to the investor’s commitment, the project will be completed and put into operation in the beginning of 2018. When completion, the project will welcome pupils and students, both national and international to study and improve their knowledge with outdoor activities: mountain climbing, Kayak sailing in the sea, etc.

In order to increase the construction progress of the project, the leader of KinderWorld Education Group kindly requested Binh Dinh Province to assist and remove Cat Hai Secondary School and provide clear plan for the investor; quickly forming the way of compensation and assistance to change careers for fishermen affected by this project; allowing the investor to change the payment of land lease for the life skill education area from annually to once, etc.

At the meeting, Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung highly valued the results of the project, funded by KinderWorld Education Group in Binh Dinh Province. The Chairman committed to assigning functional agencies and Phu Cat District People’s Committee to complete the site clearance and hand over “clean” site for the investor. The Province agreed the investor would change the payment of land lease for the life skill education area from annually to once and the Province also assigned Binh Dinh Economic Zone Administration in collaboration with Binh Dinh Department of Natural Resources and Environment to do that. Besides, the Province would soon issue the policies on the compensation and assistance to change careers for fishermen affected by the project. The Chairman emphasized the province would create favorable conditions for the investor to implement the project as scheduled.
