Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee met with New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam

(binhdinh.gov.vn)-On the morning of June 28, 2017, Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung and leaders of related departments, agencies had a meeting with Ms. Wendy Matthews – New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam (Photo).

Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee was delighted to welcome Ms. Wendy Matthews – New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam to pay an official visit to Binh Dinh Province. The Chairman gave a brief on the provincial socio-economic development, potential and advantages for investment, agricultural development, especially the potential for education, agriculture and tourism development.

On this occasion, the Chairman expressed his thanks to New Zealand Government for their great support and assistance for Binh Dinh in the past years, especially the project in agricultural sector had contributed to the improvement of farmers’ lives. Mr. Ho Quoc Dung also thanked to the New Zealand Government for the assistance to deal with the consequences caused by the severe floods in the end of 2016.

The Chairman hoped Ms. Wendy Matthews would continue to enhance the relation between Binh Dinh and New Zealand, working as a bridge to recommend New Zealand enterprises to seek for investment opportunities in Binh Dinh Province in the coming time.

Ms. Wendy Matthews expressed her thanks to Binh Dinh leaders for warm welcome and highly valued the provincial potential for economic development. As her position, she would try her best to work as bridge for both sides’ cooperation relation, and on that context the cooperation and friendship relation between New Zealand and Vietnam in general, Binh Dinh in particular would be further developed.

On the afternoon of that day, Ms. Wendy Matthews had a site visit to projects, funded by New Zealand Government in Binh Dinh Province.
