The training on regular maintenance of routes to serve the Project “Local Road Assets Management Project – LRAMP”

On the morning of April 7, 2017, Department of Transport in collaboration with the Provincial Project Management Board organized the training conference on regular maintenance of commune and district –level routes to serve the project “Local Road Assets Management Project – LRAMP, loaned by World Bank (WB). The training conference was attended by more than 250 cadres and officials in charge of sectors of transport, urban management of communes, wards and towns, People’s Committees of Districts, An Nhon Town and Quy Nhon City.

At the conference, a leader of Binh Dinh Department of Transport gave a brief on the road component of LRAMP Project and the regular maintenance of commune, district – leveled routes, ensuring the procedure, the process and the guideline for building the planning of the maintenance of bridges, roads, the funding, the bidding, the construction, the checking and accepting and the payment in accordance with the requirements of the Project.

As known, Binh Dinh is one of the fourteen provinces in Vietnam selected by Ministry of Transport for the LRAMP Project, with the total funding of VND 9,203 billion, including the loan of World Bank and the counterpart of the locality. Binh Dinh has the LRAMP investment funding of VND 318 billion. The project implementation is from 2017 to 2021 with the aim of enhancing the repair, the upgrading and the maintenance of commune, district and provincial-leveled routes; the construction of 23 civil bridges, contributing to improving the transport system and meeting the requirements of socio-economic development.
