Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee met with CJ Group (Korea)

On the morning of February 17, 2017 at the Office of Binh Dinh People’s Committee, Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung had a meeting with Mr. Chang Bok Sang – General Director of CJ Group in Vietnam regarding investment promotion activities. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Phan Cao Thang – Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee and leaders of related departments, agencies of the province.

At the meeting, Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung gave a brief on the provincial socio-economic development, the basic orientation for the development strategy in the coming time. Presently, the province is focusing to enhance the investment attraction to effectively exploit the provincial potential and advantages in fields of industry, tourism, trade, high-technology agriculture, etc. The Chairman highly valued the investment in Binh Dinh, made by CJ Group and the initial result was that the Group successfully organized the ground-breaking ceremony of CJ Vina Agri Animal Feed Production Plant in Nhon Hoa Industrial Park with the total investment capital of 448 billion VND and with the capacity of 150 thousand tons/year. The CJ Group is also surveying to invest in other fields, including the system of pig raising farm, seafood processing, tourism, entertainment, pharmaceutical products, etc.

Mr. Chang Bok Sang expressed his thanks to Binh Dinh leaders for creating favorable conditions to implement the project “CJ Vina Agri Plant” in Binh Dinh and continued to survey some tourist areas, beauty spots and oceanic tuna exploitation and then select appropriate projects. The Group would continue to implement some other projects in Binh Dinh Province. Initially, the Group would focus on the construction of CJ Vina Agri Plant and soon put into operation, implementing the project “pig raising farm” with 600 swine so as to provide for livestock sector in the province and the region. Besides, the Group would continue to survey and construct the cattle feed production plant to be consumed within the country and for export to Korea. Mr. Chang Bok Sang highly valued the provincial potential and advantages; at the same time, hoped Binh Dinh leaders would take an interest and create favorable conditions for the Group to widen their investment in the province.
