At the reception, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh congratulated Mr. Piotr Frieske on becoming the Honorary Consul of Poland in Da Nang.
The Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also gave an overview of the characteristics, potential, strengths and socio-economic development of the province in the past time and the development orientation in the coming time. At the same time, he said that Binh Dinh is investing, upgrading and completing socio-economic infrastructure to be ready to welcome investors, especially infrastructure of economic zones, industrial parks and industrial clusters.
Regarding the results of cooperation between Binh Dinh province and Poland, currently, there are a total of 96 FDI projects in the province, with a total registered capital of over 1.38 billion USD, of which 51 projects are outside economic zones, industrial parks and industrial clusters, with a total registered capital of 257 million USD and 45 projects in economic zones, industrial parks and industrial clusters, with a total registered capital of 1.124 billion USD. However, up to now, there have been no investment projects from Polish enterprises. The province's export turnover in 2024 will reach 1.71 billion USD, exceeding the annual plan by 3.6% and increasing by 7.8% compared to 2023. Of which, the export turnover to the Polish market in 2024 is estimated at 18.7 million USD, up 78% compared to 2023. The main export items include plastic products, wood products, garment products, footwear of all kinds, ores and other minerals... Import turnover from the Polish market in 2024 is estimated at 316 thousand USD; down 17% compared to 2023, mainly importing pharmaceutical raw materials, machinery, equipment and spare parts.

At the same time, support the introduction and promotion of Binh Dinh's strong products to the Polish market through trade promotion programs organized by Polish agencies.
