Binh Dinh: Striving to attract over 100 investment projects to the province in 2025

In 2025, Binh Dinh province will continue to focus on inviting domestic and foreign investors with potential and strong brands to invest in key projects in 5 main pillars: Industry; tourism; high-tech agriculture; port services and logistics; urban economy associated with the urbanization process.

In 2024, Binh Dinh province organized many Investment Promotion Conferences, inviting domestic and foreign investors to invest in the province.

Mr. Nguyen Bay, Director of Binh Dinh Province Investment Promotion Center, said that in 2025, the province will strive to attract over 100 investment projects.  Accordingly, Binh Dinh province continues to focus on calling for domestic and foreign investors with potential and strong brands to invest in key projects in 5 main pillars, including: Industry; tourism; high-tech agriculture; port services and logistics; urban economy associated with the urbanization process. Priority is given to attracting projects with modern technology, high intellectual content, environmentally friendly, efficient use of resources, and products with competitive advantages. In addition, the province continues to organize Investment Promotion Conferences focusing on groups of small and medium-sized investors with clean and high technology from Japan, Korea, especially European countries and some other developed countries to both accelerate the filling of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone and industrial parks and industrial clusters (IPs, ICs) in the province and promote the development of supporting industries, infrastructure and accompanying services, creating an attractive premise to attract large investors.  

 

In 2025, Binh Dinh province will continue to select capable investors to invest in industrial parks and industrial clusters.

According to Mr. Nguyen Bay, the province will continue to support and create conditions for projects to be implemented smoothly and quickly put into operation in the province. Continue to promote investment in the direction of selecting capable investors to focus on introducing and attracting key and key areas in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone and industrial parks and industrial clusters. At the same time, organize good implementation of regulations on depositing investment commitments for projects to improve the efficiency of project implementation on schedule; actively coordinate and support investors in completing administrative procedures, removing difficulties and obstacles to promptly deploy project construction.  It is known that in 2024, the whole province attracted 59 new projects (including 03 FDI projects) with registered capital of VND 10,940.9 billion, reaching 59% compared to the plan assigned in early 2024 (100 projects); adjusted 104 projects with additional capital of VND 2,014 billion. The Department of Planning and Investment alone attracted 41/70 projects according to the plan assigned in 2024, the Economic Zone Management Board attracted 18/30 projects.
