Wilmar CLV seeks for investment opportunities in Binh Dinh
Mr. Nguyen Thinh Phu said, after the initial survey, Wilmar CLV would like to invest a soy-bean oil processing plant in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, with a total investment capital of about USD 30 million. Besides, Wilmar CLV hoped to construct a deep water seaport in the province to serve for the above-mentioned project.
Mr. Phan Cao Thang – Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee welcomed Wilmar CLV to seek for investment opportunities in Binh Dinh Province; at the same time, committed to creating favorable conditions for the investors to soon implement their projects in the province.
As known, Wilmar International with its headquarters in Singapore is one of the Asia leading groups in agricultural and food products. It is a producer and a great provider in the world with its products: Palm oil, oil-based chemicals, biodiesel, specialized fatty substances and edible oil. In addition, it also majors in pulverizing kinds of oilseed, processing of tapioca, sugar and rice. Presently, Wilmar owns more than 500 production workshops and a large delivering network on 50 countries in Europe, Asia and Africa, of which Cambodia, Laos and Viet Nam (CLV for short) are three countries that the Group is focusing to develop.
