Fujiwara Group (Japan) seeks for investment opportunities in Binh Dinh

(binhdinh.gov.vn)-On the morning of February 24, 2017, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Phan Cao Thang and leaders of related departments, agencies had a meeting with a delegation of Fujiwara Group, led by Mr. Osamu Kimura – Chairman of the Group regarding investment opportunities for the construction of a solar power plant in Binh Dinh (photo).

At the meeting, Mr. Osamu Kimura – Chairman of Fujiwara Group said, the Group has 14 subsidiary companies in the world. The Groups tends to develop a clean industry, hoping to receive the assistance in terms of mechanism, policies, labor-force, etc. The Group would invest a renewable industry in Binh Dinh in a combination with planting agricultural trees below the panels used for creating solar power and on the exploited area. Presently, the Group is piloting to plant tea trees below the panels.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Phan Cao Thang emphasized, the calling for investment in renewable energy is one of the important priorities that the province is focusing. Therefore, to create favorable conditions for the investor, the Vice Chairman requested the Group to seek for an appropriate location. He also requested related departments and agencies of the province to create favorable conditions for the investor to implement their projects in Binh Dinh.
