Unions of Friendship Organizations of Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Dinh Province signed the people-to-people cooperation agreement with the witness of Ms. Tran Thi Thu Thuy – Head of Representative Office of Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (Southern Representative Office) and Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh – Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee

At the meeting, Unions of Friendship Organizations of Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Dinh Province agreed and signed the people-to-people cooperation agreement as well as the mobilization of non-governmental organizations’ aids between the two agencies. Particularly, both agencies agreed on the annual exchanges of people-to-people activities, well organizing the activities in terms of peace, solidarity and friendship, regularly exchanging information, actively enhancing communication activities, mobilizing and fighting for the will-points of the people of two localities and Vietnamese people in the fields of human rights, support for victims of Agent Orange in Vietnam and the sovereignty over the islands and the sea in Vietnam, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh gave best wishes for the success of the signing ceremony. The Vice Chairman hoped that the two agencies would connect each other with regards to the mobilization of non-governmental organizations’ aids from individuals, organizations in the world with the aim of reducing the poverty, sustainable development, the prevention of natural disasters, the adaptation of climate change, especially in social order and security.
