The training conference to enhance the awareness of the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community and the orientation to build the action plan of the Project 161/QD-TTg on January 25, 2017

Delegates at the training conference

The training conference was attended by Deputy Minister of Labour – War Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Hong Anh; delegates from related ministries, departments and agencies of Khanh Hoa Province, Binh Dinh Province, DakLak Province, Gia Lai Province, Dak Nong Province and Kon Tum Province. Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh attended and gave a welcome speech at the conference.

At the conference, delegates were given necessary information on the ASEAN Political-Security Community (APSC), the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC), and general plan of three pillars up to 2025. Besides, delegates at the conference were guided to build the action plan of the Project 161/QD-TTg to ensure the actual situation of each locality, especially bringing practical benefits for the people in the integration period.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh welcomed neighboring delegates to attend the conference in Binh Dinh Province and said it was the opportunity for delegates to share experience one another. The Vice Chairman hoped the contents at the conference would meet the demand of each delegate and on that basic, delegates would effectively propose such action plans to their leaders in the coming time.
