Star Formation in Different Environments

The conference is based on the success of the conference entitled “Star Formation in Different Environments” in 2016, held by Rencontres du Vietnam at ICISE, Quy Nhon City. According to the Organizing Committee, the contents of the conference will focus on local clouds to distant galaxies; discussions and reports of star formation in different environments; researches on stars in planet neighboring galaxies by using telescopes, etc.

"The conference is an opportunity to meet one another, exchange among Vietnamese scientific community and scientists the world in terms of issues related to this field. We will also provide experiments as well as technology in presentations at the conference and this is very necessary.” Prof. Tran Thanh Van – Chairman of Rencontres du Vietnam said.

Speaking at the opening session, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Tran Chau emphasized the importance and efforts of Binh Dinh Province to develop Binh Dinh into “a destination” for international scientists. It has been shown by the linking between ICISE and the series of Meeting Vietnam and then the Space of Science and other projects to form Quy Hoa Science and Education Urban Area.

The conference lasts until August 12, 2017, attracting more than 70 scientists from 18 countries in the world.
