VEKA Shipbuilding Group seeks for investment opportunities in Binh Dinh

(binhdinh.gov.vn)-On the afternoon of July 26, 2017 at the Office of Binh Dinh People’s Committee, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Phan Cao Thang had a meeting with a delegation of VEKA Group (Holland) in Vietnam to seek for investment opportunities in the province.

At the meeting, Mr. Pham Van Hai – Director of VEKA Group in Vietnam said Veka is a distinctive Dutch shipbuilder with its branches in many countries in the world and its advantages: investing international cruise ships, yacht factories and high-class functional tankers. The Group annually produces hundred different types of ships: cargo ships, chemical tankers, passenger ships, luxurious yachts and specialized ships to ensure maritime safety. The Group is strategically expanding its business in Vietnam. To seek for investment opportunities in Binh Dinh Province, the Group would like Binh Dinh leaders to create favorable conditions to survey an appropriate area for a shipbuilding project based on European standard. In addition, the Veka Group also would like to survey and invest in Nhon Hoi Port; transferring shipbuilding technology; providing ship warranty services; opening specialized training courses on maritime, etc.

Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Phan Cao Thang highly valued the VEKA Group who chose Binh Dinh to seek for investment opportunities; at the same time, committed to creating favorable condition for the Group to effectively invest in the province.
