Binh Dinh Department of Information and Communications worked and signed the Memorandum of Understanding in Attapu

(binhdinh.gov.vn)-The delegation of Binh Dinh Department of Information and Communications, led by Mr. Tran Kim Kha, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of Binh Dinh Department of Information and Communications had a meeting and signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Attapu Department of Information, Culture and Tourism on the occasion of the 55th founding anniversary of Vietnam-Laos diplomatic ties (September 5, 1962 – September 5, 2017) and the 40th year of the Vietnam-Laos Treaty on Amity and Cooperation (July 18, 1977 – July 18, 2017). Ms. Bunnan Bunaseng, Director of Attapu Department of Information, Culture and Tourism welcomed and received the delegation.

At the meeting, both sides shared information on the socio-economic development, characterized features on culture and society and results on external information activities of the two provinces.

Ms. Bunnan Bunaseng, Director of Attapu Department of Information, Culture and Tourism said Vietnam had assisted Attapu a television station which is being transferred from analog signal to digital one. Attapu Province is still facing lots of difficulties: not having printed newspapers or printing factories; human resources of the sector are small in terms of the quantity and professional skills. In the coming time, based on the cooperation relation between the two departments, Ms. Bunnan Bunaseng hoped Binh Dinh Department of Information and Communications to create favorable conditions and assist in training human resources in terms of the press and technical issues for Attapu staff, helping Attapu Province to publicize printed newspapers in the province.

On the occasion, both sides signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the aim of creating a new development in information sector and then strengthening the cooperation relation between Binh Dinh Department of Information and Communications and Attapu Department of Information, Culture and Tourism.
