Kyorin Group (Japan) and Bidiphar signed technical transferring cooperation

On the afternoon of November 22, 2017, in Quy Nhon City, there was a signing ceremony between Kyorin Group (Japan) and Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Join Stock Company (Bidiphar) regarding technical transferring cooperation. Representatives of the two sides include Mr. Michiro Onota, Chairman of the Managing Board, General Director of Kyorin Rimedio Company and Mr. Nguyen Van Qua, Chairman of the Managing Board, General Director of Bidiphar.

Bidiphar has had more than 35 years of experience in producing and doing business on pharmaceutical products, with the total funding of USD 23.6 million, the turnover in 2016 reached USD 66 million. Bidiphar has a system of workshops and equipment with GMP standard; the distribution of the company is worldwide; the management system according to international standards, the company's financial capacity has grown steadily for many years, etc.

Kyorin is a Japanese corporation specializing in providing pharmaceuticals and health care services, with annual revenues of USD 1.1 billion. Kyorin Rimedio Company (a member of Kyorin Pharmaceutical Corporation) was established in 1947 and has its headquarter in Kanazawa, Ishikawa, Japan, specializing in the development and manufacture of generic products. The two sides signed a technical transfer contract in the field of pharmaceutical production for products in accordance with the standards of Kyorin Rimedio Company and Japan - one of the highest standards in the world in the field of pharmaceutical production. Both sides believed the cooperation would contribute to the development of pharmaceutical industry in Vietnam.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Chairman of Binh Dinh People's Committee Ho Quoc Dung highly valued the cooperation between Bidiphar and Kyorin Corporation and believed the event would open a new phase of Bidifar’s development. He also requested Mr. Michiro Onota to take his interest in transferring and supporting the technology for Bidiphar with the aim of increasing the product quality to international standards. The Chairman committed to creating the most favorable conditions for Bidiphar and Kyorin to effectively develop their cooperation.
