AFG Global Consulting Company seeks for investment opportunities of renewable projects in Binh Dinh Province

On the afternoon of January 22, 2018, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People's Committee Tran Chau and leading representatives of related departments, agencies had a meeting with the delegation of AFG Global Consulting Company (Korea) to seek for investment opportunities of solar energy project, wind power project and biomass power project to be expected to invest in Hoai Nhon District.

At the meeting, a representative of AFG Global Consulting Company said to seek for investment opportunities in the province, the Company hoped the Provincial People's Committee and functional departments to facilitate the survey and invest in the projects of solar energy, wind power and biomass in Hoai Nhon District. According to the proposal, the investor wanted to set up a 100MW solar power plant project with an estimated investment capital of USD 150 million on an area of ​​100 ha in Hoai Tan Commune and Bong Son Town; build a 50MW biomass power plant at Hoai Tan Industrial Park; survey and set up a project of 30MW wind power plant along the beach in Hoai Hai, Hoai Huong and Hoai Thanh. In addition, the investor exchanged some information on preferential policies in attracting foreign investment; the procedures for connecting to the national power grid; site clearance, etc.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People's Committee Tran Chau province highly valued the AFG Global Consulting Company to seek for investment opportunities in Binh Dinh. The Vice Chairman said the Government as well as Binh Dinh Province always encourages renewable energy projects. Presently, there are 19 renewable energy projects in the province, including 15 solar power projects, 03 wind power projects and 01 wind and solar power project registered by domestic and foreign investors. 15 projects are located outside Nhon Hoi Economic Zone and 4 in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone. The Vice Chairman committed to creating the most favorable conditions when the investor determined to invest renewable energy projects in the province.
