Attapeu Provincial Military Command (Laos) visited and congratulated on the anniversary of the establishment of the People's Army of Viet Nam

On the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22nd, 1944 – December 22nd, 2017), 28 years of National Defense Day (December 22nd, 1989 – December 22nd, 2017), on December 19, 2017 the delegation of Attapeu Provincial Military Command, the People's Democratic Republic of Laos, led by Colonel Sokxay Phimala, Head of Attapeu Provincial Military Command visited and congratulated officials and soldiers of armed forces of Binh Dinh Province. The delegation was welcomed and received by Colonel Tran Thanh Son - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Binh Dinh Provincial Military Command and officials of the command.

On behalf of the delegation, Colonel Sokxay Phimala sent congratulations to the officials and soldiers of the armed forces of Binh Dinh Province on the 73^rdanniversary of Vietnam People's Army, congratulating the achievements of the people and the People's Army of Vietnam in general and the armed forces of Binh Dinh in particular in the past years and believed in the coming time the people’s armies of two countries and the armed forces of two provinces would strengthen their friendship and solidarity, especially, the comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.

On behalf of Binh Dinh Provincial Military Command, Colonel Tran Thanh Son, Head of Binh Dinh Provincial Military Command expressed his thanks to Attapeu Provincial Military Command for the goodwill; at the same time, hoped that the military commands of the two provinces would continue to strengthen the cooperation, regularly exchange information and cooperate to prevent sabotage activities of hostile forces, strengthening the special relationship of Vietnam and Laos in general, the armed forces of the two provinces in particular.

* The localities and units in the province have had many activities to celebrate the 73^rd anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam People's Army and 28 years of the National Defense Day.

On the afternoon of December 18^th, 2017, Tay Son District held a meeting with nearly 150 delegates, officers and soldiers who had been working at the district military command, revising the tradition through 73 years of fighting and developing Vietnam People's Army. The Armed Force of Tay Son District was established in 1945 and was brave, based on the people to fight and achieve many resounding victories, contributing to the victories of the two wars against French colonialism and American imperialism. Since the liberation, the Armed Force of Tay Son District has always implemented effectively the instructions and resolutions of all levels on military defense tasks; strictly carrying out the modes to be ready for fights, etc.

* On the afternoon of December 19, 2017 the Provincial Border Guard Command had a meeting to commend 12 outstanding and promising people in the provincial border guard force in 2017.

At the commendation ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Head of the provincial border guard command highly appreciated the activities and movements of the youth of the provincial armed force such as the program for students to continue to school, the house of VND 100 and so on; at the same time, praised and commended 4 typical young people, 8 promising young people of the provincial border guard force.
