Champasak high-ranking delegation worked in Binh Dinh

At the meeting, the two provinces exchanged information on the socio-economic development and the implementation results of the Memorandum of Understanding between leaders of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Champasak Province, the People’s Democratic Republic of Laos, period 2016 - 2021.

“We are delighted that under the leadership and direction of Champasak Provincial Party Committee, People’s Committee, the provincial political situation is stable, social order and safety are ensured, material and spiritual life of the people are constantly improved, the economy is continuously developed. We believe that under the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the People’s Committee as well as the unity of Champasak people, Champasak Province will continue to gain new greater achievements in the building and developing of the province.” Mr. Ho Quoc Dung – Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee said.

Binh Dinh and Champasak leaders discussed in details the contents in the MoU.

On July 12, 2016, in Champasak Province, leaders of Binh Dinh Province and Champasak Province had a meeting and signed a cooperation program between the two provinces, period 2016-2021. This is the concretization of long-term cooperation and development between the two provinces, contributing to affirm the policy and the right direction in comprehensive development cooperation of the two provinces. After 3 years of implementation, the contents of cooperation between Binh Dinh and Champasak Provinces have achieved positive results, including the results of supporting human resources training, science and technology, industry and trade. 

In the coming time, leaders of the two provinces agree to continue directing concerned departments, agencies to review and actively implement the cooperation contents, especially in the fields of health, agriculture, culture, sports and tourism; propose to issue mechanisms and policies to create favorable conditions for Binh Dinh enterprises to feel secure in investing and doing their business activities in Champasak Province and vice versa; regularly exchange high-ranking delegations between Binh Dinh and Champasak.

Also at the meeting, Binh Dinh shared the experience of building and developing Quy Nhon City to become a green - clean - beautiful one, reducing traffic accidents, improving the effectiveness of drug prevention in the province as well as establishing and putting into operation the Public Administration Service Center of Binh Dinh Province.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee wished to strengthen the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in general and Binh Dinh and Champasak in particular. "Binh Dinh will be ‘together’ with Champasak with aim of developing both provinces." the Secretary of Binh Dinh Party Committee emphasized.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung and Mr. Bunthong Divixay confirmed they would make great efforts to strengthen the special relation between Binh Dinh and Champasak.

On this occasion, Mr. Bunthong Divixay invited Binh Dinh leaders to pay an official visit to Champasak in an appropriate and the soonest time.

During the time of visiting Binh Dinh Province, the high-ranking delegation of Chamasak Province visited Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company (Bidiphar), Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE) and the Explora Science.
