German and European enterprises seek for investment opportunities in Binh Dinh

(binhdinh.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of March 20, 2019 Mr. Marko Walde - Chief Representative of the German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam and some German and European enterprises worked with provincial leaders to seek for investment opportunities in the province. Receiving the delegation, there were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Ho Quoc Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Phi Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of relevant departments and agencies.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quoc Dung gave a brief on the potential of provincial socio-economic development. The Chairman said, in order to promote investment attraction in the field of information technology, the province had constructed Quy Nhon Innovation Valley (also known as Quy Hoa Science and Education Urban Area) on the area of over 240 hectares in Ghenh Rang Ward, Quy Nhon City. So far, the province has completed the general plan with finished site clearance, built technical infrastructure and called for investment projects in the field of science and technology, especially software technology into the Urban Area.

German and European enterprises introduced the business sectors they would consider investing and shared the expectation to promote the investment and trade in Binh Dinh, especially to know about Quy Hoa Science and Education Urban Area.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quoc Dung expressed his thanks to the German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam for connecting and introducing German and European enterprises - major investors in software technology to the province. The Chairman also sent greetings to German and European investors who came to seek for the investment cooperation in the province.

On behalf of Binh Dinh leaders, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Tung committed to creating favorable conditions within the provincial authority for German and European enterprises to seek for investment opportunities in Binh Dinh.
