Provincial leader met with two French organizations (SEAFF/SFL)

From June 30, 2019 to July 10, 2019, leaders and officials of the two SEAFF/SFL organizations exchange information and provide technical training for Binh Dinh Province to strengthen capacity in managing and operating water supply and drainage systems, collecting and treating waste water. They also have site visits at water supply and drainage systems as well as waste water treatment and then propose solutions for management, operation and maintenance with the aim of improving the quality of clean water supply, preventing leakage and water loss, enhancing the automation and boosting the quality of operation, maintenance and repairing waste water treatment systems, etc. The visit also aims at strengthening the capacity in customer management, paying clean water bills and public bidding. The mission also surveys current water supply and drainage system in An Nhon Town to prepare for the master plan implementation for drainage and waste water treatment in An Nhon Town and related project components based on the signed cooperation agreement.
The visit is in the framework of the cooperation agreement on clean water, wastewater collection and treatment between Binh Dinh People’s Committee and the two SEAFF & SFL organizations and the agreement on Project 3 on training and exchanging techniques for officials of Binh Dinh Department of Construction, Binh Dinh Water Supply and Sewerage Joint Stock Company (BIDIWASSCO) and Quy Nhon Urban Environment Joint Stock Company (URENCO) that Binh Dinh People’s Committee and the two SEAFF & SFL organizations signed in April, 2018.
The mission of the two SEAFF & SFL organizations committed to quickly and effectively implementing Project 3 and hoped to receive the support from Binh Dinh leaders as well as the co-operation between provincial related departments, agencies.

Mr. Phan Cao Thang, Permanent Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh People's Committee believed the cooperation and information exchange between Binh Dinh and the two organizations during the visit would be successful, contributing to the completion of the cooperation program that both sides signed; at the same time, hoped the delegation would have interesting experience in Binh Dinh. On this occasion, Vice Chairman Phan Cao Thang conveyed the good health from Binh Dinh leaders to Mr. Alain Steiner – President of SFL Organization and Mr. Daniel Matergia – President of SEAFF Organization as well as cadres and officials of the two organizations. He also wished the cooperation between Binh Dinh and the two organizations a great success.
