Provincial leader met with VESAMO delegation
Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh PPC Nguyen Phi Long (on the right) offered a gift to VESAMO delegation.
During the visit to Binh Dinh Province within two days (June 27 and June 28, 2019), the VISAMO delegation attended and inaugurated a friendship house with the fund of USD 2,500 for Agent Orange victim Dinh Thi Benh in Vinh Kim Commune, Vinh Thanh District; offering USD 4,500 for 45 households (affected by AO/Dioxin); offering USD 1,000 and two wheelchairs for the Center for Agent Orange Victims at the Provincial Traditional Medicine and Rehabilitation Hospital - Campus 2, in Phu Cat District.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh PPC Nguyen Phi Long expressed his thanks to VESAMO for their good feelings and positive support for Binh Dinh Province. Vice Chairman Nguyen Phi Long committed continuing to pay attention and creating conditions for VESAMO to organize activities in Binh Dinh in coming time.
Mr. Chang Ho Ick - VESAMO Chairman congratulated on the development of Binh Dinh Province in past years, especially in the field of tourism. Mr. Chang Ho Ick believed Binh Dinh would develop quickly and soon become a famous tourist city in Vietnam and in the world; at the same time, promised to continue to support Binh Dinh to develop together with the development of Vietnam.
VESAMO, founded in 2002 in Busan, Korea, is an organization with its members of businesspersons loving Vietnam. Since 2012, VESAMO has been regularly offering scholarships to support Vietnamese students, programs to assist people in flooded areas, remote areas in Vietnam. Since 2015, VESAMO has also regularly done activities to help Agent Orange victims in provinces/cities in Vietnam. Currently, VESAMO is one of the important partners, actively supporting Viet Nam mobilizing agencies and individuals in Korea to participate in organizing workshops, photo exhibitions and propaganda about the East Sea.
