Con Chim ecological area is 480 hectares wide, located in the middle of a vast lagoon in the middle of mangrove forests. Beneath the water surface are diverse and abundant aquatic resources, with aquatic species of high value such as: shrimp, crab, mussels, snapper, red snapper, mullet, molluscs, etc. The ecology of seagrass beds is increasingly restored and developed. Above the canopy of the mangrove forest is home to populations of endemic birds, storks and seasonal migratory birds... In the late afternoons, flocks of storks fly back to cover the sky, and in the evenings, the full moon sinks. Surrounded by lush green mangroves, Con Chim is as fanciful as a fairyland.
From the Con Chim ecological area, visitors can easily move to other tourist destinations in the vicinity, such as Lang Song minor seminary, Linh Phong pagoda, Hon Kho island... From Quy Nhon city, less than an hour by boat, or only about 30 minutes by car and through a ferry, visitors have arrived at Con Chim Ecological Area.
