Since then, the blacksmithing profession has maintained and developed. Up to now, Tay Phuong Danh Forging Village has more than 300 households out of a total of 436 households doing blacksmithing. Not only growing in quantity but also in product quality of the forging village has also been improved and diversified in types, but most are still agricultural tools for agricultural production. Some smiths in the village even accept contracts to produce screws used to build ships. Currently, products of Tay Phuong Danh forging village are present all over the country, especially in the Central Highlands. Also from this profession, the people of the blacksmith village have had a stable life, many households have become rich.

Every year, in gratitude to the person who gave birth to blacksmithing, the people of Tay Phuong Danh hold a Blacksmithing Village Festival on the 12th day of the 2nd lunar month. This festival not only gathers households who are working in the locality but also attracts people from outside the province. In addition, the festival also attracts the participation of professions related to blacksmithing such as iron craft. In 2007, the Provincial People's Committee recognized Phuong Danh Tay Forging Craft Village meeting the criteria of a traditional craft village.
