Spanner Crab is a specialty of the waters of Tam Quan and De Gi (Binh Dinh), and is honored by fishermen as the king of crabs. With thick and hard armor, bright yellow like royal robes, tiny thorns down the body, rods and larger, sharp edges like knives, it deserves to be called a crab with the word "king". In particular, the crab's head is long and has many antennae... Want to enjoy Spanner Crab? The answer is "not easy!". Not because of the wallet, but because of its rarity. According to the experience of fishermen, spanner crab only occurs in the waters of Tam Quan (Binh Dinh), Tuy Phong (Binh Thuan), and Sa Huynh (Quang Ngai). The clean seas, with golden sandy bottoms and clear blue water are "charming" for crabs with the "king" brand to reside and grow. Spanner Crab are most abundant only in the spring, from December to March of the lunar calendar. It can be said that king crab meat is delicious and nutritious in the "champion" category. Therefore, in the past, it was a type of crab that often sat on the golden plate of the heavenly son. Spanner crab is washed, peeled, cut into small pieces and then eaten with rice. Just add a spoonful of um crab juice, it's already fragrant, let alone bite into the crab meat... Perhaps the steamed dish with salt and pepper will make people enjoy all the sweetness of king crab meat. Having just split the crab shell, you have been captivated by the fatty, sweet and fragrant crab bricks. Each fiber of crab meat is firm and white, making your taste buds "demand" to taste immediately. The salt must be granulated salt that is pounded with green chili peppers and added a little monosodium glutamate, then the crab meat will be properly dipped. You can also boil crabs, get meat, marinate spices and then make oil to cook porridge. A delicious spanner crab porridge must have a layer of yellow onion fat on top, mixed with red brick juice and white meat fibers of the crab. How delicious each spoonful of hot porridge is! The distinctive aroma penetrates the nose and the heat hits the face. Eat all the porridge, sweat all over, feel good....
