Irrigation system for Nhon Hoi Economic Zone

- Objectives of the project: To build a general port in the tariff zone of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, which vessels with 30,000 deadweight tonnage (DWT) can anchor in order to serve the construction demand, the import and export of commodities for the zone and enterprises themselves, contributing to the activities and development of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone in particular and the provincial socio-economic development in general. To build cargo warehouse systems, container yards, container depots, which are used for lease as well as carry out port logistic services such as the transport, the commodity delivery, and the loading and unloading of goods.

          + Joint venture (both domestic and foreign).

          + 100 % foreign funding

          + 100 % domestic funding

- Scale of the project:

          + Estimated funding of the project: from 300 million USD till 400 million USD.

          + Estimated area of the project: 110 hectares.

- Project location: The general port is located in the tariff zone of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone with an area of 84.91 hectares. Besides, some logistic tourism areas behind the port have an area of 34.19 hectares, located in Nhon Hoi commune administrative boundary. These areas have stable geology and the topography is convenient for dredging. With convenient position and airtight terrain, these areas can be developed into a deep water port with large capacity.
