Upgrading the dike system and planting the mangrove forest to cope with climate change in Thi Nai Lagoon

- Objectives of the project: To upgrade the Dong dike system in order to prevent natural disasters due to tides, water rising, flood, etc., affecting the people living along the dike. To cooperate the construction of transport on the dike. To stabilize the people’s lives in this location; to contribute to the poverty reduction and ensure the national security.

- Estimated funding of the project: 303.8 billion VND.

           + ODA funding: 238 billion VND.

           + Contribution funding: 65.8 billion VND

- Project location: The old dike is still existed. The locality is from Nhon Binh ward (Quy Nhon city) to the downstream of southern bank of Go Boi bridge, Kim Tay hamlet, Phuoc Hoa commune.
