At the talk, Prof. George F. Smoot shared his experience so that BinhDinh might produce highly technological products in the province. The Professor noticed that the value of science and technology only promotes its effect when applying in realities, serving for socio-economic development. In order for science to be applied to production and real life, it was necessary to closely link between the State, enterprises, and universities. Accordingly, the State needs to build such clear mechanism and policies; enterprises approach, applying the advance of science and technology; universities provide high-qualified human resources, being able to grasp technological advance. The Professor also noted that beside the benefits, it was important to take interest in building clean environment, energy saving, and ensuring that laborers have good working conditions.
