Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung met with a delegation of Japan – Vietnam Friendship Association in Sakai

Mr. Hitoshi Kato said that with a special love for Binh Dinh Province, he hoped to help advertise the image of Binh Dinh Province as well as call Japanese enterprises to invest in Binh Dinh. However, he also noticed that Binh Dinh needs to attract the investment, develop economy and protect the environment.

Presently, Japan – Vietnam Friendship Association in Sakai is assisting Binh Dinh Province to implement projects in the province. For the project of safe vegetables, the Association and the Provincial Agricultural Agency had surveyed some localities for vegetables in An Nhon Town and Vinh Thanh Province, selecting typical farmers to send to Japan in order to be trained vegetable growing technique, and seeking for the investment capital for the project of dealing with the sand accumulation at Tam Quan Fishing Port. Besides, the Association also actively helped Binh Dinh Province to prepare documents for Binh Dinh’s investment promotion program in Japan in the coming time.

At the meeting, Mr. Ikeda Masahiro – Director of Sanicon Corporation, member of the delegation, said that his Corporation would like to set up a company in Binh Dinh Province specializing in providing the equipment for drinking water and wastewater treatment and forming the cooperation between the Corporation and Binh Dinh Province in the future.

Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung expressed his thanks for invaluable contribution made by Mr. Hitoshi Kato and requested provincial departments and agencies urgently complete the documents for Binh Dinh investment promotion program in Japan. The Chairman also welcomed Sanicon Corporation to invest in Binh Dinh and committed to creating favorable conditions for the Corporation to set up a company in Binh Dinh Province.
