The ceremony was attended by Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Thien, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee, leaders of departments and agencies, Mr. Le Kim Hoa (a martial arts master) – Vice Chairman of Vietnamese Traditional Martial Arts Federation and more than 250 martial arts athletes, instructors and masters from 52 national and international martial arts schools.

The Flower Offering Ceremony at Quang Trung Museum

The Sixth International Festival of Vietnamese Traditional Martial Arts – Binh Dinh 2016 entitled preserving and promoting of Vietnamese Traditional Martial Arts is an international cultural and sporting event. The festival is organized every two years with an aim of honoring and promoting the national traditional cultural values, including Binh Dinh traditional martial arts. The festival also aimed at recommending national and international friends the image and landscape of Binh Dinh martial arts land and the homeland of the national hero Quang Trung – Nguyen Hue. This is also an opportunity for national and international martial arts schools to meet, exchange, research and share experience so as to develop Vietnamese traditional martial arts nationally and internationally.

On August 3^rd, 2016 martial arts schools meet and exchange one another at Phan Tho martial arts school, Binh Nghi commune and visit historical vestiges and tourist spots in Tay Son District.
