Binh Dinh high-ranking delegation paid a working visit to Champasak

At the meeting, Mr. Bunthoong Divixay welcomed Binh Dinh high-ranking delegation to pay a working visit to Champasak. He also confirmed that this official visit is very important, contributing to enhance the comprehensively friendship and cooperation relation between Binh Dinh and Champasak.

Mr. Bunthong Divixay said that from 2011 to 2016, Binh Dinh has supported Champasak 9 billion VND in order to develop the agriculture, education and training, security and national defense, etc. Especially, the joint venture project of Pharmaceutical Factory in Champasak between Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Joint Stock Company (BIDIPHAR) and Champasak Pharmaceutical Enterprise with a total investment of 2 million USD and the project of planting coffee trees by BIDIFAR in Champasak Province have been very effective, contributing to the budget and creating stable jobs for hundreds of workers in Champasak Province. The Secretary of the Party Committee, the Chairman of Champasak People’s Committee hoped to continue a comprehensive cooperation with Binh Dinh based on the potential and advantages of the two provinces. He also invited Binh Dinh enterprises to seek investment and cooperation opportunities in Champasak Province.

Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung expressed his thanks for warm welcome and the special feelings given by the authority and the people of Champasak Province. Chairman Ho Quoc Dung said that no other special relations could compare with the relation between the Party, the State and the People of Binh Dinh and Champasak. He was also delighted with the results of cooperation that the two provinces signed and implemented in the past years and hoped the two provinces would continue to share experience and cooperation based on the potential and advantages of each province. The Chairman also invited Champasak leaders to pay a working visit to Binh Dinh in the coming time.

Leaders of the two provinces agreed to continue the implementation of signed cooperative contents. In the period of 2016-2021, the two provinces agreed to continue the contents of cooperation in such fields as Party building, political system, security – national defense, agriculture, trade and industry, education and training, healthcare, culture, sports, tourism, communications, investment and cooperation, external relation, etc. Leaders of the two provinces agreed to assign the two Departments of Planning and Investment as contact points for the implementation of signed cooperative contents as well as propose new cooperative contents to enhance comprehensively cooperative relation between the two provinces in the coming time.

* One the occasion of working in Champasak, on the afternoon the high-ranking delegation visited cadres and officials of Champasak – Binh Dinh Friendship Pharmaceutical Company (CBF) and the Consulate General of Vietnam in Pakse.
