Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung had a meeting with a delegation of Japan – Vietnam Friendship Association in Sakai and Marubeni Lumber Co., Ltd.

At the meeting, Mr. Shimizu Fumitaka, Director of Marubeni Lumper Co., Ltd said that the Company has its main business field of purchasing and selling, importing and exporting kinds of timber including sawn timber, plank, plywood, indoor furniture, etc. The purpose of the visit is that the Company would like to seek investment opportunities of a timber factory with its main raw materials of hybrid acacia and eucalyptus in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone.

Mr. Shimizu Fumitaka requested to be provided the specific information on the provincial investment policies in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, asked to rent 100 thousand m² in order to build a factory; the procedure of an enterprise establishment in the province; the procudure of investment certificates, the price of land rent in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone; the raw materials for the factory, the way of purschasing raw materials, the procedure of importing materials through Quy Nhon port in Binh Dinh Province, etc.

Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung welcomed the Japanese investor to survey and implement the project in the province. The Chairman committed to create favorable conditions for Marubeni Lumper Co., Ltd to implement the project in Binh Dinh Province. 

The queries raised by Mr. Shimizu Fumitaka were fully and satisfactorily answered by leaders of related departments and agencies, showing the concern and creating favorable conditions for Marubeni Lumper Co., Ltd to soon implement the project in the province.
