Investment Promotion Conference with Taiwanese enterprises
At the meeting, Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung gave a brief on potential and advantages for the provincial socio-economic development. Accordingly, in comparison with other provinces in the Central Region - Highlands, Binh Dinh has outstanding advantages in investment policies, industrial infrastructure, adequate transport systems including by road, water, air and rail, linking among the regions in the country and the world.
In terms of strategies for socio-economic development, Binh Dinh has promoted investment attraction nationwide and worldwide, gradually developing into the nucleus of growth - an industry, service and urban center of the Central Key Economic Region.
In order to meet the requirements of development, Binh Dinh has constructed 11 industrial zones, 63 industrial clusters with the total area of more than 5,000 ha. Especially, the infrastructure of 12,000-ha Nhon Hoi Economic Zone has been completed and ready to welcome potential investors to survey and seek investment and cooperation opportunities. So far, Binh Dinh has attracted a lot of investors nationwide and worldwide, including FLC Group, SembCorp, Binh Duong Becamex, Hoa Sen, Hung Vuong, etc.
Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung confirmed that in order to attract investment to Binh Dinh, the province would continue to carry out administrative reform, publicizing and clearing investment policies, timely dealing with the appropriate requirements of investors and creating favorable conditions for investors to seek investment opportunities in the province. Besides, the province also committed to assisting in the labor training, trade promotion, information provision and physical infrastructure assistance inside and outside the provincial industrial zones/clusters.
At the meeting, Taiwanese enterprises and investors recommended the potential and advantages of Binh Dinh Province in socio-economic development, especially in the fields of industry and tourism, and raised questions for Binh Dinh leaders regarding the preferential policies.
On behalf of Binh Dinh leaders, Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung highly valued the comments made by Taiwanese enterprises and emphasized that the province would create the best conditions for the investors to survey and seek investment cooperation opportunities in the province.
