Provincial leaders receive and work with the high-ranking delegation of Sekong province

The Delegation was also received by Mr. Lam Hai Giang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for cooperation with Southern provinces of Laos; Ms. Huynh Thi Ngoc Ha, Head of Culture - Social Board, Provincial People's Council; Mr. Ho Si Dung - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; representatives of leaders of provincial departments and agencies; members of the Steering Committee for cooperation with the southern provinces of Laos.

On behalf of Binh Dinh leaders, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee welcomed the high-ranking delegation of Sekong province to pay a working visit in the province.

At the reception, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan briefed on the socio-economic situation and development orientation of Binh Dinh province in the coming time.

Mr. Pham Anh Tuan said that Binh Dinh province has established cooperation relations with 4 southern provinces of Laos, of which there is Sekong province. Over the past years, Binh Dinh province and Sekong province have constantly strengthened the traditional friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation each other. Accordingly, the friendship and cooperation relations between the two provinces have increasingly developed and deepened, with practical and effective results in many fields with various forms of cooperation, making great contributions to the good traditional relations of the two countries.

Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan was delighted that under the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee and Sekong Provincial Government Committee, the political situation in Sekong province had been stable, social order and safety had been ensured, people's material and spiritual life had been constantly improved, and the economy had been continuously developed. Simultaneously, he believed that under the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Government Committee and the unanimity of Sekong people, the province would continue to gain greater achievements in its construction and development, contributing to building a peaceful, independent, democratic, unified and prosperous nation.

Mr. Leclay Sivilay, Secretary - Chairman of Sekong province expressed his thanks to Binh Dinh leaders for a warm reception. He said that the working visit of Sekong province high-ranking delegation aims to further strengthen the friendship, solidarity and cooperation relations between the two Parties and States of Vietnam and Laos in general, Sekong province and Binh Dinh province in particular on the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Laos (September 5, 1962 – September 9, 2022) and 45 years of the signing of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation between Vietnam and Laos (July 18, 1977 – July 18, 2022).

Secretary - Chairman of Sekong province highly valued the support and assistance of Binh Dinh province for Sekong province in the past years; at the same time, expressed his desire to continue promoting the deep and comprehensive cooperation between the two sides, maintaining the exchange of high-level delegations, department and agency-level delegations to meet and share experience in building up the Party and political system as well as developing the socio-economic issues.

At the reception, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan thanked and happily accepted Mr. Leclay Sivilay’s invitation to pay a working visit in Sekong province in the coming time.
