VSIP considering the construction of a complex in Binh Dinh

According to the Investment Promotion Centre, Becamex IDC Company and Viet Nam – Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) had been considering the construction of the project “Industry-Trade-Service-Urban Complex” in the province.

In the past time, the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province issued an official letter on recommending three locations for the investor to invest in a complex, including the area of 1,000 hectares in Canh Vinh Commune, (Van Canh District); Long Van – Long My Urban Area (Quy Nhon City) with a area of 1,378 hectares and an area of about 800 hectares in Phuoc Hiep Commune, Tuy Phuoc District.

As known, during the investment promotion business mission of Binh Dinh leaders to Singapore, Mr. Kevin Teo – Chief Executive Officer and the President of Sembcorp Group concurrently the Chairman of VSIP said that he completely supported the construction of VSIP in Binh Dinh. However, the Group need to survey carefully before investing in this project. Mr. Kevin Teo also requested Sembcorp delegation to pay a visit to Binh Dinh in order to survey the locations that the province had recommended and reported to him before his meeting with Binh Dinh leaders at the end of August, 2015.

 

 VSIP is considered as one of the model complex in Viet Nam with the participation of investment and experience transfer in the field of infrastructure and marketing by reputable corporations such as Sembcorp Industries, Ascendas, United Overseas Land, KMP Group, Mitsubishi Corporation and Becamex (Vietnam). VSIP has developed a total of 6 projects in Binh Duong, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong and most recently in central region of Viet Nam (Quang Ngai), with a total of over 6,000 hectares of land including industry, urban and service.
