An Israel large-scaled textile enterprise invests in Binh Dinh
Foreign Textile enterprises invest in Viet Nam before the signing of TPP.
According to the information of Binh Dinh Investment Promotion Centre, the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province has granted an investment certificate to Delta Galill Industries Enterprise in order to implement the project “Viet Nam Delta Galil Weaving - Dyeing – Sewing Factory”, located in Binh Dinh Province. Accordingly, the project “Viet Nam Delta Galil Weaving - Dyeing – Sewing Factory” will be implemented in Cat Trinh Commune, Phu Cat District on an area of 18,000 m2, with a total investment capital of 13 million USD.
It is expected that the project will put into operation in the 4th quarter of this year. The factory will produce from the fiber till finished products including yarns, woven fabrics, finished textile products (including dyeing), knitted fabrics, unweaving textiles, readymade textiles, the manufacturing of knitted fabrics.
As known, Delta Galil Industries is a big enterprise in the world. This enterprise was established in 1975 and since then it has been a producer and distributor worldwide with textile products for men, women, and children. Presently, this enterprise is the partner of leading fashion brands such as Calvin Klein, Nike, Hugo Boss, and Victoria’s Secret. Besides, Delta Galill has sold its products with permitted brands such as Wilson, Maidenform, and Tommy Hilfiger.
This propect is located in Cat Trinh Industrial Cluster, where Nha Be Textile Corporation has invetsed in the infrastructure and manufactures textile products. When put into operation, this project will contribute to transfering economic machenism and creating job opportunities, promoting socio-econimic development of Phu Cat District.
This is the first foreign direct investment (FDI) project in 2015 in Binh Dinh Province, which was granted the Certificate of Investment. Through this investment, the Isarel investor could anticipate the opportunities when Viet Nam signs the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) in order to take advantage of tax preferences when exporting commodities to other countries from Viet Nam.
