At the meeting, a representative of Sachsen Anhalt Nord – the Federal Republic of Germany expressed his thanks for warm welcome from Binh Dinh leaders. The purpose of the visit to Binh Dinh was to seek for investment opportunities, provincial preferential policies to call for investment and enhance the cooperation between both sides in industry and trade production, especially in outdoor plywood production. The delegation also recommended some of their advantageous products and hoped to invest in Binh Dinh Province.

Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung expressed his pleasure when the delegation of Sachsen Anhalt Nord – the Federal Republic of Germany chose Binh Dinh to seek for investment opportunities. The Chairman gave a brief on the provincial socio-economic development, especially the advantages for the development of agriculture, industry and tourism as well as preferential policies to call for investment for foreign enterprises. Presently, Binh Dinh is taking a lot of interest in developing tourism, wood production, handicraft, granite, textile, industrial production, high-technology agriculture, seaport, airport, financial and banking services, telecommunication, transport, healthcare, education and training, etc. In the coming time, based on the potential and advantages of both sides, Binh Dinh Province would like to cooperate with Sachsen Anhalt Nord – the Federal Republic of Germany in different sectors; at the same time, hoped the delegation would work as a bridge for the relation between two localities, enterprises of Sachsen Anhalt Nord and Binh Dinh Province and recommend investors from Sachsen Anhalt Nord – the Federal Republic of Germany to seek for investment opportunities in Binh Dinh Province.
