Binh Dinh organizes the first Teqball International Tournament - TEQBALL WORLD SERIES in Vietnam

 At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan and the delegation discussed contents related to the organization of the Teqball International Tournament - TEQBALL WORLD SERIES for the first time in Vietnam.

 Consul General of Hungary in Ho Chi Minh City Lehőcz Gábor supported Binh Dinh province in organizing the Teqball International Tournament - TEQBALL WORLD SERIES.

 Mr. Lehőcz Gábor - Consul General of Hungary in Ho Chi Minh City said that Teqball is a sport born in Hungary in 2012 and this unique sport has quickly conquered the world for more than a decade. via. “We are very proud to witness the first and long-awaited steps of this wonderful sport in Vietnam” - Consul General of Hungary in Ho Chi Minh City shared.

 Consul General Lehőcz Gábor pledged to support Binh Dinh province in successfully organizing the first Teqball International Tournament - TEQBALL WORLD SERIES in Vietnam and hopes this event will bring more opportunities for cooperation between Hungary  and Binh Dinh province in many other fields.

 FITEQ Secretary General Laszlo Vajda spoke at the meeting.

 FITEQ Secretary General Laszlo Vajda said Teqball has now become popular worldwide with more than 5,000 players in more than 150 countries.  National federations manage 2,000 clubs globally.

 Teqball has received recognition from the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), the Oceania Olympic Council (ONOC), the Olympic Council of Africa (ANOCA) and will be included in the competition at the 2028 Olympics.

With the goal of expanding international cooperation, promoting exchanges and developing Teqball sport in Binh Dinh province, FITEQ has proposed to organize the Teqball International Tournament - TEQBALL WORLD SERIES in Quy Nhon city and invite  countries and territories participating in this event.  FITEQ has appointed Saigon Sports Investment Company Limited as the exclusive licensee and developer of this sport in Vietnam.

 To enhance the spirit of development cooperation, promote tourism, and long-term cultural and sports exchanges between Vietnam and Hungary, FITEQ Secretary General Laszlo Vajda hopes that Binh Dinh province will arrange training and nomination programs. Coaches, athletes and representatives of relevant departments and branches visit FITEQ in Hungary to train, learn and exchange experiences; successfully coordinated to organize the Teqball International Tournament - TEQBALL WORLD SERIES in Binh Dinh province.

 Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan discussed the conditions for organizing the Teqball International Competition - TEQBALL WORLD SERIES.

 Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan thanked FITEQ for choosing Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province as the venue for the Teqball International Tournament - TEQBALL WORLD SERIES and agreed on the time to organize the tournament. in June 2024 as recommended by FITEQ.  In order for the tournament to be held successfully, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan hopes that the Hungarian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City will continue to support Binh Dinh province;  At the same time, FITEQ is requested to promptly inform the necessary conditions to organize the tournament as well as welcome international teams; Strengthen propaganda and promotion, attracting many countries and territories around the world to participate in the tournament.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan also committed to providing the best conditions to successfully organize the Teqball International Competition - TEQBALL WORLD SERIES.

On the same afternoon (March 20), FITEQ donated 8 Teqball tables to the Provincial Sports Training Center and two universities in Binh Dinh province./.
