Bustling National Great Unity Day in Kon Giot 1 village

Attending the festival, on the Central side, there were comrades: Le Hoai Trung - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central External Relations Committee; Tu Thanh Hue - Head of the External Relations and Overseas Vietnamese Committee, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. On the local side, there were comrades: Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Anh Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee;  Nguyen Thi Phong Vu - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

At the festival, delegates and people of Kon Giot 1 village reviewed the history and tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front over the past 94 years, the position and role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels; listened to the report on the results of the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" in 2024.

Kon Giot 1 village currently has 106 households, with 427 people, mainly Ba Na people. In recent times, responding to the campaigns and emulation movements launched by the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front, the community of Kon Giot 1 village has had many creative ways of doing things;  building many effective models. People in Kon Giot 1 village have actively joined hands, united, raised awareness and responsibility in disease prevention and control; mobilized the potential, creativity, and voluntary participation of union members, association members and people of all walks of life, contributing resources to building new rural areas, developing the socio-economy, building and defending the Fatherland. At the same time, well implementing social security work, helping the poor, the disadvantaged, and people in difficult spiritual and material circumstances, gradually stabilizing their lives and striving to get rich.

 Regarding the implementation of the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", in 2024, the Kon Giot 1 Village Front Committee has coordinated to effectively implement campaigns and patriotic emulation movements; mobilized people to actively participate in socio-economic development models and poverty reduction projects under the National Target Programs, thereby actively contributing to the implementation of the goal of hunger eradication, poverty reduction, and ensuring social security in the area. In addition, the movement of All people unite to build a cultural life, care for the cause of education, care for people's health; build cultural families; promote the tradition of gratitude, mutual love and affection has also received attention.  Kon Giot 1 Village was reserved by the District People's Committee as a Cultural Village in 2024 and the Vinh An Commune People's Committee established a gong and xoan dance team with 30 members who regularly participate in cultural and artistic activities organized by the province, district and commune, as well as perform traditional rituals of the Bana people in the village. The movement to encourage learning and talent was also focused on. Currently, 100% of children of the right age are able to go to school, and in 2024, there will be no students dropping out of school...

Speaking at the festival, Comrade Le Hoai Trung - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central External Relations Commission said that this year's National Great Unity Festival is very meaningful when the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army are actively implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels;  welcome the success of the Congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels and the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029. Head of the Central External Relations Commission Le Hoai Trung acknowledged and highly appreciated the attention and leadership of the Party Committee and the government of Binh Dinh province, thereby bringing about great changes in all aspects, improving the material and spiritual life of the people of Kon Giot 1 village. At the same time, Head of the Central External Relations Commission requested that the Party Committees, the government, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels of Binh Dinh province pay attention to and focus on promoting democracy, promoting the strength of great national unity in implementing the Party's directives and resolutions; continue to effectively implement the resolution of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on "innovating and improving the quality of the Great National Unity Day in the new period"; carry out the task of economic - cultural and social development; build a great national unity bloc.  Continue to pay attention to, lead, direct, consolidate, perfect and improve the effectiveness of the activities of the Fatherland Front at all levels; especially pay attention to the activities of the Front and cadres doing Front work at the grassroots level...

The Head of the Central External Relations Committee also asked the people of Kon Giot 1 village to promote the good results achieved in the past time; at the same time, overcome the limitations and shortcomings according to the leadership of the Party and the guidance of the government to achieve even better results in the coming time.

At the festival, Central and local delegates presented 106 gifts to all households of Kon Giot 1 village. In addition, provincial leaders presented 200 national flags to build a national flag road and provided support for building a Great Unity house for Vinh An commune.

* Immediately after attending the National Great Unity Festival in Kon Giot 1 village, Vinh An commune, the delegates went to offer flowers at the Monument of Emperor Quang Trung and incense at the Temple of the Three Heroes of Tay Son to show their respect and honor the great contributions of the national hero Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue, the civil and military mandarins of the Tay Son Dynasty in the struggle to build and defend the country./.
