Responding to the “World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims”
(binhdinh.gov.vn) - On October 26, 2024, the Provincial People's Committee issued a Plan to organize activities in response to the “World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims” in the province in 2024. This year, response activities were launched and organized throughout Binh Dinh province with the message “Remembering the departed - For the departed”.

According to the plan, from October 26, 2024 to November 25, 2024, the whole province will focus on implementing communication activities with the slogans: Traffic accidents - The pain remains; Remembering the departed - For the departed. Propaganda content includes: Propagating and widely disseminating the purpose and meaning of activities in response to the World Day of Remembrance for Traffic Accident Victims; from specific and authentic stories about the pain, loss, physical and mental injuries that victims and relatives of traffic accident victims have to endure, widely communicating about the serious consequences of traffic accidents; addresses that need help and sharing from the whole society. Warning about the risks, causes of traffic accidents, serious consequences of traffic accidents, measures to prevent traffic accidents, thereby reminding and raising the responsibility of functional agencies, organizations and each individual in ensuring traffic order and safety as well as the awareness of law compliance of traffic participants. Continuing to promote propaganda and communication activities on ensuring traffic order and safety closely following the theme of Traffic Safety Year 2024 "Rule of law to build a culture of safe traffic". From November 1, 2024 to November 17, 2024, departments, branches, socio-political organizations, businesses, and philanthropists will organize delegations to visit, encourage, and provide appropriate support to families of traffic accident victims (especially families of traffic accident victims who are in difficult circumstances) at hospitals and at the families of traffic accident victims. People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities will make a list of selected victims and families of traffic accident victims who are policy families, single-parent families, victims and families of victims who are in especially difficult circumstances due to objective reasons for traffic accidents, organize delegations to visit and provide appropriate support. The Provincial Traffic Safety Committee will organize working groups to visit and encourage families of traffic accident victims who are in especially difficult circumstances. In particular, on November 17, 2024, the Department of Information and Communications, Binh Dinh Radio and Television Station, District, Town, City, Commune, Ward and Town Radio Stations will increase the time, prioritize live broadcasting and broadcasting on traffic safety. The program's content focuses on the causes of traffic accidents, warns of the serious consequences of traffic accidents for the locality and the whole society, calls for responsibility and awareness of everyone when participating in traffic, and specific and practical solutions and activities to prevent traffic accidents./.
