Ceremony to summarize training, professional support, and technical transfer between Cho Ray Hospital and Binh Dinh General Hospital in 2020 - 2024

(binhdinh.gov.vn) - On the morning of October 11, Binh Dinh General Hospital held a ceremony to summarize training, professional support, and technical transfer between Cho Ray Hospital and Binh Dinh General Hospital (2020 - 2024). Attending the ceremony were Deputy Minister of Health, Director of Cho Ray Hospital Nguyen Tri Thuc and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang.

 According to the report at the ceremony, from 2020 to 2024, Binh Dinh General Hospital has continuously studied and improved its professional capacity with Cho Ray Hospital to serve medical examination and treatment such as: Signing contracts on training, technology transfer, and professional support with Cho Ray Hospital. Implementing Project 1816 with Cho Ray Hospital. Implementing the Telemedicine Project with upper-level hospitals such as Cho Ray Hospital. With the direct attention and guidance of the leaders of Cho Ray Hospital and Binh Dinh General Hospital. The coordination between the focal units is favorable. The hospital has basically fully implemented the contents according to the proposed Plan. The content of the technical packages is practical and useful for Binh Dinh General Hospital. Some new techniques have been deployed at the Hospital, reducing the pressure on upper-level hospitals.  By June 2024, 99 staff members of Binh Dinh General Hospital had participated in training at Cho Ray Hospital. There were 20 techniques that Binh Dinh General Hospital received technical transfer/professional support. There were 30 contents participating in training/sharing professional experience under the Remote Medical Examination and Treatment Project 2628.

 Speaking at the closing ceremony, Deputy Minister of Health, Director of Cho Ray Hospital Nguyen Tri Thuc assessed that Binh Dinh General Hospital has implemented the Training, Professional Support and Technology Transfer Plan for 2020-2024 very well, contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment at the hospital, bringing high-tech medical services to the people in the province, meeting the increasing demand for medical examination and treatment of the people, reducing the overload situation for central hospitals.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang said that over the past years, Binh Dinh province has always paid attention to and prioritized many investment resources for the health sector. The province has paid attention to promoting the training of medical human resources. The Provincial People's Council has issued a specialized resolution on training to improve the quality of medical human resources at public health facilities in the province. Accordingly, the Provincial General Hospital has been supported and allocated funds for postgraduate training and specialized training of doctors at home and abroad. The province has also directed the Department of Health and the Provincial General Hospital to prepare very carefully and fully in terms of facilities, medical equipment, human resources, etc. to be able to continue receiving support for professional training and technical transfer from Cho Ray Hospital and other hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and in the future, foreign hospitals.  The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the leadership and medical staff of the Provincial General Hospital in organizing cooperation activities, training and technology transfer from Cho Ray Hospital over the past 5 years.

On the side of Binh Dinh province, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang hoped that Cho Ray Hospital would continue to support professional training and technology transfer for the Provincial General Hospital and other public hospitals in the province; at the same time, strengthen cooperation and exchange of experiences in hospital management, administration, digital transformation and scientific research.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang awarded certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to individuals who have made many contributions in terms of expertise and technology transfer, contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment for the health sector of Binh Dinh province.

 At the ceremony, the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 14 individuals who have made many professional contributions, transferred techniques, and contributed to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment for the health sector of Binh Dinh province.
