 At Hoai Nhon Town Square, the Party Committee, government, and armed forces of Hoai Nhon Town solemnly held the 2024 Military Handover Ceremony.  Hoai Nhon Town deploys military recruitment in 2024 with the synchronous and drastic participation of party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front, departments, branches and unions. In particular, with the active advisory role of the town's military agency, town's police, military service councils at all levels and localities, they have properly implemented the process of selecting and calling citizens to join the army in 2024. Fronts, associations, and unions at all levels have thoughtfully organized many meeting, farewell, and encouragement activities for children in their localities to feel secure in joining the army.

 The entire town has 379 young people leaving to perform military service and People's Police service in 2024, with a higher proportion of young people with higher education levels than every year. Among them, there are 80 young people with university and college degrees, 4 young people are party members; 142 young people wrote applications to volunteer to join the army. The town's youth force enlisted in this round will be assigned to 7 receiving units including: Regiment 66, Division 10; Naval Region 4 Command Training Center; Division 372 (Air Defense - Air Force); Provincial Border Guard Command; Regiment 739 (Provincial Ministry of Military Affairs); 88th Chemical Brigade, Chemical Command; Provincial CA.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Hoai Nhon Town People's Committee Le Dang Tuan requested all levels of party committees, authorities, fronts, associations, unions and all people of the town to well implement the military rear policy; continue to encourage, care for, and provide timely and practical help to families of new recruits in particular and soldiers in general so that active duty personnel can feel secure in their duties. "This is also the common responsibility of the entire political system in the cause of protecting the Fatherland," Mr. Tuan emphasized.
