Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang inspected the progress of a number of traffic projects in the province

 The road connecting National Highway 19 to Becamex - VSIP Industrial Park connecting to Quy Nhon port has a length of 19,445 km, with a total investment of 1,163,882 billion VND (of which, construction is 730,333 billion VND; land clearance is 206,868 billion VND dong). The project implementation period is from 2022 to 2025.

 The main route section is 8 km long; The total land recovery area is 26.7 hectares with a total of 148 affected households. To date, the People's Committee of An Nhon Town has announced land recovery and inventoried 148/148 households; Approved the 06 land clearance plan for 81 households with an amount of 20.332 billion VND and is appraising the 7th phase plan for 56 households with an amount of 4.02 billion VND; 64 households have been paid an amount of 11.17 billion VND. For the additional section of the branch connecting the project with the Southern Bypass of Phu Phong town with a length of 2.2 km, the People's Committee of An Nhon town is completing documents to notify the recovery of 54,694.1 m2 of land of  37 households and 02 organizations.

 In addition, the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board has completed site clearance compensation for the 4.945 km long route in Van Canh district; Send documents and statistics of affected households and areas on the 4.3 km long route in Tay Son district so that the People's Committee of Tay Son district can issue a notice of land recovery.

 Currently, the contractor is excavating the roadbed, tarping the slope, organic peeling, and filling the roadbed with soil for some sections on the main route; constructing the landing of 5/5 bridges; Construction of a number of box culverts and small drainage works.

 After field inspection, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang agreed to advance funds to pay approved households at the request of the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board;  At the same time, we request the People's Committee of An Nhon town to direct Nhon Tan commune to complete the confirmation of land origin and soon approve the 7th phase plan to speed up site clearance work and complete handover of clean site to the Investor for development. Vice Chairman Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang also requested to speed up the bidding process for additional branch lines; Speed up compensation progress and require winning contractors to begin construction immediately to ensure project progress.

 The southern bypass project of Phu Phong town has a length of 17,975 km, with a total investment of 791,386 billion VND (of which: construction 417.3 billion VND; site clearance 234.9 billion VND). The project completion time is from August 2022 to August 2024.

 Assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to carry out site clearance work, up to now, Tay Son district People's Committee has basically handed over the construction site of 17.97 km/17.97 km. Both resettlement areas (resettlement) in Binh Tuong commune and the resettlement area in Tay Phu commune have been completed. The District People's Committee has handed over 67 remaining lots of resettlement land (Tay Phu: 30 lots, Binh Tuong: 37 lots) to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to carry out auction procedures to collect land use fees.

 The project includes 03 construction and installation packages. Currently, the contractor is excavating soil, blasting and breaking rocks (package No. 1) to coordinate road embankment and construction of drainage works;  constructing foundations and erecting columns of the lighting system;  Construction of foundations, abutments, piers, beam casting, beam installation and concrete pouring of bridge decks of 5 bridges (Nuoc Xanh Bridge, Dong Xiem Bridge, Tay Phu Bridge, Song Kut Bridge, Binh Tuong Bridge). The value of construction and installation carried out to date is 126.7/403.9 billion VND, reaching 31.37%.

 After checking the project implementation situation, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang requested the Tay Son District People's Committee to coordinate with the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board and relevant units to speed up site clearance work (the intersection at the end of the route) for households to dismantle affected houses and structures, and soon hand over the site to the contractor to carry out construction to ensure the set schedule./.
