Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh received the Champasak province delegation

 Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh and representatives of some departments and branches received the Champasak province delegation.

 At the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh said that Binh Dinh province has a friendly cooperative relationship with 4 Southern Lao provinces (Attapu, Champasak, Salavan, Sekong); Among them, Binh Dinh province and Champasak province have had a friendly cooperative relationship for more than 40 years.  In recent times, the two provinces have regularly organized many activities to exchange delegations, visit and congratulate each other on the occasion of the two countries' holidays and New Year. In particular, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province and the Government of Champasak province signed a Memorandum of Cooperation for the period 2021-2025 with comprehensive cooperation in many fields. Accordingly, Binh Dinh province has developed a plan to implement cooperation with Champasak province until 2025 and initially achieved some important results in the fields of education and training, science and technology and tourism. In 2024, Binh Dinh province focuses on implementing activities such as: organizing a delegation of senior leaders of the province to visit and work in Champasak province in the second quarter of 2024;  coordinate in implementing the construction of friendship projects according to the signed Memorandum of Cooperation;  Continue to provide scholarships for students from Southern Laos provinces to study in the province.

 Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh also informed about the province's socio-economic development situation in 2023 and key tasks and solutions in 2024 to achieve the target of growth of total local product.  Provincial table (GRDP) is about 7.5% - 8%.

 On behalf of the provincial leaders, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh thanked the Deputy Governor and members of the working group for taking the time to visit and wish Tet in the province. In order to continue building and cultivating the good friendly relationship between the two sides, Vice Chairman Nguyen Tuan Thanh hopes that the leaders of Champasak province will continue to pay attention and direct relevant units of the province to actively coordinate with local authorities. Relevant departments and branches of Binh Dinh province to effectively implement the contents of the Memorandum of Understanding for the period of 2021 - 2025 signed between the two parties.

 On this occasion, comrade Nguyen Tuan Thanh wished Chamasak province reap many new victories in the new year; Wishing the friendly cooperative relationship between the two provinces will increasingly tighten and develop.

 Deputy Governor of Champasak province highly appreciated the results of cooperation between Binh Dinh and Champasak provinces in recent times;  At the same time, we hope that the leaders of Binh Dinh province will continue to pay attention and direct the strengthening of extensive cooperation in all fields to bring practical benefits to the people of the two provinces, contributing to strengthening and the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in general and the cooperative relationship between the two localities in particular.

 On the occasion of the Lunar New Year Giap Thin 2024, Deputy Governor of Champasak province Somboun Hueangvongsa sent good wishes to the Party Committee, government and people of Binh Dinh province; Wishing Binh Dinh province to develop more and more in the coming time./.
