Provincial leaders worked with An Nhon town to implement key tasks in 2024

 In 2024, An Nhon town will be highly determined and make outstanding efforts to continue promoting the town's potential and advantages, mobilizing investment resources for rapid and sustainable economic development. In addition, the town focuses on perfecting synchronous urban infrastructure, improving class III urban standards and striving to become a provincial city. The town assigned 23 socio-economic targets, 6 more than the 17 targets assigned by the Provincial People's Committee, of which 4 targets the town assigned were higher than the provincial plan; assign 11 development targets to communes and wards. The town strives for the growth rate of total product in the area to reach 8.3-8.7%.

 The entire government system from towns to communes and wards is determined to change thinking from "management government" to "service government";  Taking people and businesses as the center, creating favorable conditions for businesses, especially manufacturing businesses, to develop economically within the framework of legal regulations. Pay attention to support and help people convert to new, effective production methods to become sustainably rich.

 At the working session, delegates focused on discussing and proposing solutions for An Nhon to achieve its goals of achieving class III urban standards, becoming a city before 2025, focusing on regulated areas, planning, urban development, infrastructure improvement, domestic water supply, waste collection, environmental protection...

 Speaking at the conclusion of the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan emphasized that the implementation of socio-economic tasks must involve the participation and coordinated actions of the entire political system of the town, and implement effectively. The script and management are clear and smooth. The most important task of An Nhon town in 2024 is to complete all standards of class III urban areas.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan affirmed the view that if you go to the city, you must go to the city, the city must be beautiful, modern, civilized, you must do it seriously, and set an example for other localities. An Nhon must proactively use resources to implement this key task. Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the town to review and coordinate with relevant departments to consider which standards have not been met or are low and report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee for  support.

 Another important issue is that local leaders must change their thinking and awareness in directing and operating according to the city government model, propagandizing people to change their awareness and be determined to make efforts to build hometown to city. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said that if the town successfully completes the standards and tasks to become a city, all socio-economic development targets and tasks of 2024 will also be completed. Therefore, localities must make efforts and focus on solving this problem in a fundamental way.

 The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted that An Nhon must focus on embellishing old urban areas, and new urban areas must build synchronous infrastructure according to regulations. Urban projects must ensure an overall picture of the city's urban space, seamlessly connecting with each other. The town coordinated with relevant departments to quickly relocate Go Da Trang industrial cluster, increase waste collection and treatment to ensure environmental criteria;  Focus on building smart cities and promoting digital transformation. Besides, we must strengthen management and fight against land encroachment; Strengthen the work of ensuring traffic safety, security and order, especially at the grassroots with the motto of prevention being the key.

 The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested An Nhon town to strengthen training and improve capacity and qualifications for officials and employees; rectify discipline, working style, change management and administration, starting from the commune-level government to strengthen people's trust in the government./.
